Orlando Engagement Photographer
I'm a wedding and engagement photographer covering all of Orlando and Central Florida. This includes Winter Park, Altamonte Springs, Ocoee, Melbourne, Cocoa Beach and Daytona Beach. We will also travel to all parts of Florida including East or West coast, St Augustine and other destination weddings as well. I have had the pleasure of photographing many wonderful couples all over the Orlando area. In this gallery you will see engagement photos from many of my favorite locations. The Baldwin Park area is absolutely gorgeous. It's beautiful landscaping along with charming lakes make this a unbelievable location for engagement sessions.
Since I work out of my home I schedule my engagement sessions during the week early in the morning or late afternoon. I can sometime schedule weekend sessions during slower times of the year.
Here are a few frequent questions regarding engagement sessions.
- What is the best location for engagement photos?
I would encourage you to choose a location that may have some significance to you as a couple. Maybe a favorite park or somewhere that connects your relationship. Keep in mind this should be a location you will be comfortable being photographed. If you are a little shy, then walking along lake Eola on weekend Saturday may not be for you.
- When is a good time to take engagement photos?
Engagement sessions are natural light sessions. This means I will not be using any flash and the quality of the photographs are dependent on the light from the sun. If we start too late we will loose the light and might have to reschedule. The ideal time frames are late afternoon from about 3 pm to 530 pm and early mornings before noon.
- What should I wear to my engagement session?
I always advise my couples to first be comfortable. Wear something that is easy to move in. Secondly coordinate your outfits. This doesn't necessarily mean to match, however your outfits should compliment each other. You can look at my Pinterest for some inspirations.
- Should we get engagement photos taken?
Many couple ask this question, and I absolutely say yes. There are a few reasons why. First off every couple deserves a day out with your photographer before the big day. Secondly I feel this will help you have the best wedding day experience possible regarding your photography. I think everyone is a little camera shy. By having an engagement session you will be more comfortable in front of the camera on your wedding day. Lastly this documents a special time in your life. You are no longer just dating, your now engaged and you will soon be married. This will be part of your story of how two families became one larger family.
- What is the best season for engagement sessions?
Since we are in Florida we have a hot season and warm season. I always suggest having your engagement photos taken in a different season and setting than your wedding. I would not recommend a session during the heart of summer. June through August is a difficult time to schedule engagement sessions. The weather is the main culprit here. During this time of the year we get daily rain and thunder showers. This makes scheduling difficult. When I do do summer engagement sessions I would suggest early morning, it is not usually as humid and the rain is typically in the afternoon.
- How many images will I get?
Our goal is to produce 30 - 40 images of your session. You will receive a variety of poses and looks. You will also receive some in color and some in black and white.
- When will my engagement photos be ready?
You photos will be posted onto your online gallery within six weeks of our session. Once I get home I copy and back up all of your images. I then cull and sort through selecting the best shots from you shoot. Each photograph is carefully color corrected, edited and rendered to a beautiful high resolution Jpeg file. Your gallery is then uploaded to your online gallery and a viewing invitation is sent out to you.
